Kyneton FNC join RDFNL Junior Competition

It is with great excitement the Bendigo Bank RDFNL can announce the inclusion of the Kyneton FNC in its junior competition for season 2023.
The RDFNL staff and board have been doing a lot of work in the background with Kyneton and the two parties have similar values and are excited to come together for next season.
The move is one the RDFNL has had in its sights for a number of years now and CEO Jordan Doyle was pleased to see it come to fruition.
‘’The RDFNL is delighted that the Kyneton FNC junior teams are joining our junior competitions in 2023 and beyond," Doyle said.
"The RDFNL has long seen Kyneton FNC as a good fit for our competitions and the Board, staff and member Clubs are looking forward to them joining our League and want to wish them all the very best for not only the 2023 season but beyond.
"The RDFNL is committed to continuing to grow our League, both internally and externally and Kyneton FNC joining will only strengthen all of our competitions moving forward.’
The Kyneton FNC were also full of praise following the official vote.
Hayden Evans who is the Club President spoke positively of the move after fielding six junior boys teams and one junior girls teams in the BJFL in 2022.
“The Kyneton Football Netball Club is looking forward to joining the RDFNL next season and recognise that we need to implement additional actions to support our junior development and retention to improve our junior numbers moving forward.”
All current RDFNL clubs were asked to vote on the proposal and the decision was unanimously in favour of Kyneton joining the RDFNL junior competition.
The RDFNL Junior Competition will start on Sunday April 2nd.
