Jake Stringer and Dustin Fletcher special guests for RDFNL Presentation Nights
The Ontime Delivery Solutions Riddell District Football Netball League is excited to announce that Essendon stars Jake Stringer and Dustin Fletcher will be special guests at the 2019 RDFNL Presentation nights.
Stringer will take to the microphone at the Junior Presentation Night held at Tabcorp Park on Wednesday August 14, while Fletcher will be front and centre at the Bowen and Ryan Medal held at Lakeside Convention Centre on the 4th of September.
Both players have enjoyed decorated careers in football. Stringer was a 2016 premiership player at the Western Bulldogs as well as All Australia in 2015.
Stringer led the goal kicking at Essendon in 2018 and has been one of their better players in 2019.
Fletcher had a career that spanned over 400 games from 1993 to 2015. He was a premiership player in his first season in 1993 and again in 2000.
Fletcher was named in the All Australian team in 2000 and in 2007 and will go down as one of the best defenders the game has seen.
The RDFNL Board are thrilled to have two outstanding guests attending their presentation nights this year.
RDFNL Operations Manager Jordan Doyle echoed the RDFNL board’s thoughts.
“The RDFNL are looking forward to having Jake Stringer and Dustin Fletcher at our Junior Presentation Night and Bowen and Ryan Medal evening,” Doyle said.
“Jake is having a great season for Essendon and is a popular player amongst kids across our region and I am sure the 500 strong crowd will be looking forward to hearing him speak. Dustin Fletcher is a revered figure in football circles being a 400-game premiership hero from the Bombers, we are very excited about Dustin speaking at our night of nights.”
